From decoder library to validation workstation

The decoder library already provides the engine and evidence pipeline. Workbench packages the workflow into a local app: load circuits, run decoders, compare results, capture environments, export artifacts, and generate reproducible reports without sending sensitive work to a cloud service.

Load

Import Stim circuits, Detector Error Models, benchmark configurations, and artifact bundles.

Run

Execute QECTOR, PyMatching-compatible comparisons, belief-matching, BP-OSD experiments, and backend diagnostics.

Prove

Export CSV/JSON artifacts, SHA-256 hashes, environment snapshots, and PDF reports from real benchmark data.

Local QEC benchmark workflow

  • Load .stim circuits and .dem files
  • Run QECTOR vs PyMatching comparisons
  • Run belief-matching accuracy benchmarks
  • Run BP-OSD / LDPC experiments
  • Generate PDF benchmark reports
  • Export CSV / JSON artifacts
  • Capture environment and dependency versions
  • Verify SHA-256 artifact hashes
  • Run CPU / CUDA / OpenCL diagnostics
  • Visualize LER, latency, threshold, memory, and scaling
  • Job queue with cancel support
  • Local-first workflow, no cloud required by default

Who Workbench is for

Researchers

Reproduce decoder experiments, inspect artifacts, and generate reports with consistent metadata.

Labs

Run controlled benchmark workflows across code families, seeds, and noise settings.

Startups

Evaluate QECTOR commercially before deeper integration or licensing.

Hardware teams

Compare decoder behavior and backend performance against internal QEC workloads.

Release path

01

Headless backend

Benchmark execution, cancellation, environment capture, export paths, and backend detection.

02

Local interface

Project dashboard, circuit loader, decoder selector, charts, artifact browser, and report export.

03

Commercial alpha

Private early-access build for serious commercial evaluators and labs under license terms.

04

Public release

Release only after a working build, docs, examples, support flow, and validated artifact exports exist.

Workbench is not released yet

QECTOR Workbench is an upcoming fullstack product. Public pages must not describe it as shipped until a real public build exists. Early-access and demo requests go through admin@qector.store.
